I am 34 now

Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 34. Where in the heck does the time go? I think it's funny that I learned to type on a real TYPEWRITER! Computers were used to play Oregon Trail and to draw a stick house. I guess when I hit high school, we did use the computers to write some papers, but definitely not at home. Hand written in blue or black ink. And I remember the very first time I was in a chat room. I sat there watching people talk back and forth and thinking, "This must be fake, people can't really talk back and forth". And I remember the cell phone! My friend Michelle and I thought we were so cool carrying her dads cellphone around, it was HUGE, and my dad had one that was like a small briefcase, you carried it around on a strap around your shoulder! Ha! I wonder what things will be like in another 20 years. So anyway, for my birthday I spent the first part of the day taking pictures for friends (I cant wait to get the Almer pictures on here! They are so adorable! ). Then my dear family got me flowers and a balloon and a lovely card. My mom got me Lightroom and a Martha Stewart subscription ..Yeah!! Steve took me out to dinner to the Cliffhouse. It was beautiful there and had a great quiet dinner! It was a beautiful day!

I love old photos like those....

I mean...

I'm certainly not saying you're OLD...

just the photos...

you know...

LOL. I remember when I was young (like in 4th grade) walking to school my brother and I would fantasize about what the world would be like when we were "grown-ups" and we were certain that there would be motorized side walks by now.

I did not make the horrible checkered overalls with a cow. You hated those overalls and I had a hard time getting you to wear them. I don't know what I was thinking.

I did make the outfit in the first pic though.

Las Vegas has some motorized sidewalks. They take you into the casino, but you have to use your legs to get out.
