Ughhh.

I feel so bad, I have fallen off the Blog radar. I promise to be back soon. There is absolutely NOTHING going on! The weather is CRAP! By that I mean, even if the sun does come out, it is still cold. Where is spring? Hello?

We met Tiffiny at Jump Around Fun Zone today. It was crowded, but it is always nice to hang with friends. I have done a couple photo shoots but need to finish up one and get permission to post some of the pictures on here. Most likely I will post them on my photo blog, but lets see how motivated I get. I have to be honest, I am not sure if its the weather or what but my anxiety level is HIGH! Ever since I got off that stupid plane I am terrified of dying, or letting my kids out of my sight. Maybe I need some meds, or a stiff drink. It probably doesn't help that it is the anniversary of my 1st husbands death. It has been 7 years, but still leaves a sinking feeling in my gut. Just a reminder of how precious life is and how quickly it can be over.

I think I need to get out of this house today. I will head out and help at the ranch tonight, helping others always takes my mind off of my own problems!

OK, one picture for fun....

My little padawan and day 3 in disney

A few times a day in Disney they have a Star Wars performance where the Jedi picks a bunch of kids out of the audience and they learn how to use "force" and a light saber, then they fight against Darth Vader. The boys really wanted to do this, but who gets chosen? Yes, Maia. She was up front jumping up and down waving her arms so of course she got noticed. Davis looked pissed and gave her one of his mean looks as she waved to the boys. She didn't care though. She was pretty cute.

Then we headed off to the shooting exposition.

We took a little raft over to Tom Sawyer Island. They had added some pirate themes to the island with lots of treasures to find. The kids had a blast here running around.

Hey, where's Gage? Well, that kid runs too fast for me to keep up with. Tom Sawyer Island is completely contained so the kids can run around and you don't have to worry about them too much. I can still keep up with the little ones. That's all for now folks.

Day 2 at California Adventure!

Our second day we went over to the newer park California Adventure. This park is great because it is huge and plenty of room for lots of people. The kids rides aren't as scary as the Fantasyland in Disney, so Dane was thrilled to go on all the Bugs Life rides. Plus they have a really cool place for the kids to run around and climb all over in the Redwood Forest Park.

This was Davis' first time on the BIG roller coaster California Screamin'. I don't think he really knew what he was getting into even though I tried to explain how BIG this ride was. When he came off, Steve was carrying him and there was a little tear running down the side of his face. He seemed a little stunned. So not sure if he was crying or the wind made his eyes water, but I wasn't going to ask him. But after a few minutes, he decided he wanted to go again, and again, and again. I think we went 4 or 5 times on this coaster. Maia wasn't quite tall enough for it, and she wasn't happy about that.

I seem to have misplaced some of the cooler pictures of this water park area but the kids had a blast running through the water that would squirt out of various places in the ground.

Waiting around for our first ride in Bugs Life land.

I think Gage is thinking "this is sooo boring", we had just come from the roller coaster.

Dane on the ride looking over the edge.

The bumper cars were pretty boring. Davis and I got stuck in a car that was stuck in a bunch of other cars, so we didn't move very far.

This is the only picture of me from the entire vacation. My arm wasn't long enough.

Heimlich's Chew Chew train. Miss Maia was not happy about her seating arrangements.

That's all for now! More to come...

Our first day in Disneyland!

Our first day we decided to head to Disneyland. I was so excited to take the kids, especially Dane. I figured he would LOVE it! He didn't. He was much happier with a few new toys and staying in the hotel room. "No fast or scary rides!" he told us. Good thing there were 3 adults there, we took turns, and Dane was perfectly fine to sit in the stroller.

One of our first rides was Indiana Jones. One of my favorites! The boys and grandpa and I went on this one. Too jerky for Steve and Dane was too little. Maia thought it was too scary so she wasn't going to try it.

This is outside the ride, some ropes and stuff to climb on.

Then there was one of Dane's favorites, the carousel. Going in circles just made me dizzy.
The boys tried very hard to pull the sword out of the stone

Next stop was Toon Town

Dane's favorite ride, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Imagine that, a shooting game.

And Maia was thrilled that she found Minnie that day! We were in a completely different area of Toon Town and I hear Maia yelling "It's Minnie! It's Minnie", and she took off running for her.

That's it for day one in Disney. I have lots more pictures, but it takes so long to upload. I will put day two on tomorrow hopefully!
