I am not sure what I am thinking trying to do my own family portraits. I tried this last year and the year before....with no luck. Setting my camera on a timer and running into the picture is not really my style. I did really want my pictures taken by a specific person, but just cant make the planets align and get to her. So her are my blooperish pictures. I don't think any of these are going to make it into a Christmas card this year. Maybe I will try again another day.
This is after Dane bonked me in the chin with his big head.
Then they just decided to have a dance party in the middle of the field.
This one is not too bad....I think I will just have to realize not everyone will EVER look at the camera at the same time. 
This is a nice one without me in it. Although I don't think Steve would let me send a Christmas card without me in it. I certainly don't mind.

Maybe I will try again on a better day. It was cold, and windy... or maybe I just need to hire someone just like everyone else does....

You oughtta be able to photoshop yourself in the picture with Steve and the kids - that one is great! And all those fun cards where you can put multiple pics on them....you could just do a solo shot of you! Anyway - love them all!
