Day 2 at California Adventure!

Our second day we went over to the newer park California Adventure. This park is great because it is huge and plenty of room for lots of people. The kids rides aren't as scary as the Fantasyland in Disney, so Dane was thrilled to go on all the Bugs Life rides. Plus they have a really cool place for the kids to run around and climb all over in the Redwood Forest Park.

This was Davis' first time on the BIG roller coaster California Screamin'. I don't think he really knew what he was getting into even though I tried to explain how BIG this ride was. When he came off, Steve was carrying him and there was a little tear running down the side of his face. He seemed a little stunned. So not sure if he was crying or the wind made his eyes water, but I wasn't going to ask him. But after a few minutes, he decided he wanted to go again, and again, and again. I think we went 4 or 5 times on this coaster. Maia wasn't quite tall enough for it, and she wasn't happy about that.

I seem to have misplaced some of the cooler pictures of this water park area but the kids had a blast running through the water that would squirt out of various places in the ground.

Waiting around for our first ride in Bugs Life land.

I think Gage is thinking "this is sooo boring", we had just come from the roller coaster.

Dane on the ride looking over the edge.

The bumper cars were pretty boring. Davis and I got stuck in a car that was stuck in a bunch of other cars, so we didn't move very far.

This is the only picture of me from the entire vacation. My arm wasn't long enough.

Heimlich's Chew Chew train. Miss Maia was not happy about her seating arrangements.

That's all for now! More to come...

I'm missing Disneyland now!! I am too chicken to go on California Screamin', I'm a little ashamed that little boys are braver than me.
And how did Steve get into the bumper car??!! Larry had to use a shoe horn to get in those things!
